It’s tiiiiiimmmmmeeeee 🎶
— Andre Soares, probably.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Wow. This post reeks of plagiarism.

Anyways. Christmas is right around the corner, and I have exciting news for you!

It’s cold outside ™️, but things have begun heating up within the freshly minted chapters of my catalogue…

  1. I’m an award-winning author now! After 5 years of stretching the boundaries that define modern, mainstream storytelling, I was finally recognized for my commitment to creative writing and, more specifically, penmanship.

My latest novel, The Hourglass Network, was awarded a B.R.A.G. Medallion in the Thrillers category (2025). I have been nominated for two more literary awards, but the results will be communicated next year (most reputable award contests take 6 months to a year to deliver their findings).

If you haven’t ordered your copy yet, consider picking it up here (and, more importantly, leave me a review!). It was a labor of love I poured months into and my love letter to this beautiful (and necessary) cause that is environmentalism.

  2. I have a new project coming out in December, right before Christmas (hence the Santa shenanigans). I will soon provide further details (cover design is in progress), but this is again embracing my trademark inclination for innovative narrative devices and bold thematic choices. For the first time in my career, I used sardonic intrusions and blurred the line between fiction and non-fiction. I’m confident you’ll enjoy it.

This may spark a new conversation on the faith-based industrial complex (hint hint).

I have a writing schedule; it’s no secret. A safe block I use to hone my skills, draft, and plan for the next project (also, crying spells). That being said, I have something else in the works (a third treat): a massive collaborative project with a fresh spin on a popular subject.

6 writers (myself included).

6 African nations.

60-page short stories.

All professionally edited and distributed worldwide under my publishing imprint, Process Protocol. And no, the numbers sequence/pattern isn’t a not-so-subtle nod to the antichrist, but rather purely logistical. Rest assured, I haven’t sold my soul. I’m still on a ramen-noodle budget, after all.

Right. But this is undeniably the most exciting undertaking in my writing career, considering the sheer scope of the storytelling here.

It’s a group effort with a delicate blend of sensibilities and viewpoints I will coordinate and see to closure.

I may also “chronicle” the process and produce a documentary highlighting important milestones in this journey.

It has been a fantastic year overall. Between peer recognition, the expansion of my catalogue with exciting, new additions, and thrilling ventures into uncharted territories, I hope you share my excitement and join me as we chart new paths.

Know this, though: I’m coming in hot ™️.

(It’s ok y’all, my legal counsel won’t charge a new retainer for this post. I couldn’t afford it anyway.)
